I[F]I don't do well if I'm kept behind an
office
[C]desk inside it makes me l[Em]lose my mind
Which wanders[F]wanders endlessly where all the
birds fly freely with their
[Em]silhouettes and perfect [G]symmetry
I've got a [C]pocketful of poetry
I've got a[Am]a head full of songs, a heart
with wings
You couldn't[F]couldn't tie me down to[G]to anything
and that's[C]that's enough for me
[F]I draw doodles of eccentric faces in
the
[C]margin spaces of i[Em]important papers
Then I [F]hand them in with a comedic
grin
[Em]You ask if I need help, [G]oh where do I
begin?
I've got a [C]pocketful of poetry
I've got a[Am]a head full of songs, a heart
with wings
You couldn't[F]couldn't tie me down to[G]to anything
and that's[C]that's enough for me
[Am]People are good, lovingly, they tell me
[F]Do as you should, all will be well
they say
[Em]Life is a test, please give the best
answer
[F]A or B or C, pick one instantly
[G]What if there's so much more to me?
I've got a [C]pocketful of poetry
I've got a[Am]a head full of songs, a heart
with wings
You couldn't[F]couldn't tie me down to[G]to anything
and that's[C]that's enough for me
