I have a presentation today and in this presentation, I will talk about some best jobs that students can do while studying at school for increasing skills.
I chose this topic because everyone knows that the majority of students in Vietnam have strengths in theoretical subjects and struggle in practical subjects as well as soft skills needed for life.
So most of the students use their free time during school to work part-time with the aim of acquiring practical knowledge as well as strengthening their own soft abilities.
From my personal point of view, I feel that there are two jobs that are the best for students, and they can do it while studying at school for increasing skills.
Online selling
Students become a salesman is not a new thing in today's society
Due to the strong development of technology, students choosing to sell things through Facebook and Instagram, have become more popular.
I am also a student.
Currently, I am both studying and supporting my parents by doing some online business through Instagram
And from this part-time job, I improved some skills that I never thought I could improve through selling online.
That is, improve me communication skills and increase my skills in handling situations
For example, if there is a problem in the sales process, because you cannot clearly see the customer attitude directly, you have to think more to solve the problem.
You need to choose the right language so that customers can accurately understand your own thinking. Since we cannot see each other, the use of tone as well as the way of writing must be very careful
Just like you should make the client feel the effort to solve the problem you and the client are facing.
Because selling can cause a lot of problems. Every time you handle the situation, you yourself can learn more about how to communicate as well as how to control the problem
And thanks to that, both your soft skills will increase. And that's why I say this is one of the best jobs for students in skill development.
Tutor
The first undeniable benefit of being a tutor is that you will improve your self-study ability and increase your patience.
The tutoring work will recall knowledge that you have learned in the 12 years of Primary and Secondary.
You will have to read more, You have to look for more information to get an overview. And from there you can answer the questions of your students.
Not only that, through the students' questions, you will also find out the gaps in your own knowledge, from which you will know what you need to do to improve your knowledge.
Therefore, as can be seen, teaching is also a form for you to increase your own knowledge and self-study ability.
Most of the tutors are young university students, so they often can not control themselves when meeting anything.
In the process of tutoring, you will have to teach students with different styles, such as being naughty, annoying.
To train them, tutors need to have the patience to teach them so that they can achieve high academic results.
When learning patience, the tutor will solve everything, attentive and not afraid of difficulties and challenges.
