[G]I met him at a party I think he was on drugs
[G7]He wasn’t smart or funny I convinced myself he was
[G]He had a great apartment And a car his parents bought
[G7]I thought that he was perfect And now his number’s blocked
Took a couple [G]months But now I am [Dm7]secure
I am so e[G7]volved Now I ask for [E7]more and more And more and more and more
[G]I won’t settle for a guy with a fake job They seem so desperate for loving But baby I’m not
[G7]Gave my heart with zero stipulations Now I take careful consideration
[G]I’m not kissing any boy that is passive Their indecision is painfully unattractive
[G7]Past mistakes are just new information These days I’ve got expectations
[G]I took her to a concert Front row, thought it’d be fun
[G7]Her hand moving up my skirt New piercing on her tongue
[G]She said she’d call me later That was three weeks ago
[G7]Classic LA behavior She could’ve just said no
But in a couple [G]months This love will be pro[Dm7]cured
She will be e[G7]volved And I will be a[E7]dored Adored, adored, adored, adored
[G]I won’t settle for a guy with a fake job They seem so desperate for loving But baby I’m not
[G7]Gave my heart with zero stipulations Now I take careful consideration
[G]I’m not kissing any boy that is passive Their indecision is painfully unattractive
[G7]Past mistakes are just new information These days I’ve got expectations
[G]I’ve got big expectations I’ve got real big expectations
[G7]I’ve got big expectations I’ve got real big expectations
[G]She’s got big expectations She’s got real big expectations
[G7]She’s got big expectations She’s got real big expectations
[G]I won’t settle for a guy with a fake job They seem so desperate for loving But baby I’m not
[G7]Gave my heart with zero stipulations Now I take careful consideration
[G]I’m not kissing any boy that is passive Their indecision is painfully unattractive
[G7]Past mistakes are just new information These days I’ve got expectations
